MHMC, a non-profit organization, opened its doors in December 1997 as a response to the need for premium quality health care in Western Jamaica. The goal at that time was to provide high quality, affordable and accessible emergency medical and diagnostic services in a primary care setting for the citizens and visitors of Western Jamaica.

Our Cardiology Services include ECGs, Stress Tests, EchoCardiograms and Holter Monitors. MoBay Hope has been saving the lives of patients in the acute phase of stroke with the drug TPA (Tissue Plasmenogen Activator), previously available only at the University Hospital of the West Indies.
The Radiology Services include provision of studies such as CT Scans, Ultrasound, plain X-Rays and contrast studies such as Barium meals and Enemas.
“State of the Art” equipment in our Laboratory allows a quick turnover time forvarious Chemistry & Haematology tests. Cancer Screening includes PSA testing for men and Pap Smear testing for women. Our Falmouth branch at 13 Rodney Street, provides coverage with a family physician, obstetrician/gynaecologist, phlebotomy (blood testing), X-Ray and Ultrasound services.
Our Women’s Wellness Services caters for all aspects of women’s wellness including infertility treatment, hormone therapy, surgical services and treatment of fibroids. Family needs are well supported by a Paediatrician who treats newborns to children 14 years old.
For patients with back pain and other similar complains, our Chiropractor is well qualified to address these concerns with adjustments of the skeletal system.
