Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of Cardiovascular Disease

Mobay Hope Medical Centre has a well-established programme to manage cardiovascular cases in Jamaica, offering a full array of services dedicated to the prevention, detection and treatment of cardiovascular disease. We are committed to providing care that is patient-focused, safe, compassionate, comprehensive, and coordinated. Our full complement of highly skilled specialists includes clinical and invasive cardiologist. Our specialists work together as a multidisciplinary team using sophisticated diagnostic equipment and facilities dedicated solely to cardiovascular care.

Our Cardiology department incorporates state of the art units, which are capable of offering the following services:

• Cardioversion
• Echocardiograms
• Exercise stress testing
• Holter monitoring
• Cardiology Consultations
• Chest Pain Centre

The department focuses on managing persons with heart diseases, together with persons who require physical examinations.

Our Cardiology Centre uses thrombolytic agents that, although expensive, is a recognized to be highly effective in increasing the survival of persons who sustain heart attacks.

MoBay Hope is the referral facility of choice for physicians and patients throughout Western Jamaica.
