The Accident & Emergency Department at Mobay Hope Medical Center is staffed with experienced physicians and nurses specially trained in emergency medicine.

Equipped to handle even the most critical situations, the Accident & Emergency Department offers technology. As a Level I Trauma Center, Mobay Hope Medical Center is prepared to care for patients at high risk due to illness or injury.

Emergency services are available around the clock, every day of the year.

Tips for Visiting an Emergency Room

Keep medical records, including immunization records, updated and bring them with you Have the name and phone number of your primary physician handy Favorite pillow Inform medical personnel right away of any allergies If possible, leave children at home while you visit the Emergency Department If your injury is minor, you can visit the Medical Center, which is open 24/7. Since inception, MoBay Hope is affiliated with South Miami Hospital/Baptish Health Systems.

South Miami Hospital is the closest facility that we choose to air-lift patients should patients wish transferred to a medical hospital overseas. We do this in conjuction with Air Ambulance Professionals, also operating out of South Florida.
