The process of aging, genetic disposition, way of life, disease or trauma can lead to an imbalance of body and soul. It is hard to be oneself and the characteristics that makes up ones personality sometimes are hard to recognize.

Reconstructive and aesthetic surgery offers a chance to create or recreate this lost harmony.

A consultation with a thorough assessment is imperative for the patient to explain his wishes and discuss possible surgical or non surgical ways of approaching the individual problem.

The aim is to find a common solution to overcome these problems, to understand the procedure and its possible risks.

	Jan Hochtritt, MD DGPRAEC	University Training in Berlin, Germany and Kingston, Jamaica Postgraduate training in General Surgery in Germany in the St. Raphael’s Hospital in Osnabrueck. Rotation in Orthopedics, Thoracic Surgery and Intensive Care. Since 1994 working as “Notarzt” (Mobile Accident and Emergency Physician) 2003 earning of the credential as a specialist surgeon with the Board of Surgeons in Germany. March 2007 Earning the credentials as a plastic and aesthetic surgeon with the German Board of Plastic Surgery.
